Henley Royal Regatta. Henley Royal Regatta is a rowing event held in Oxfordshire. The event goes on for five days and includes races on the River Thames for lots of different boat types.The event is something of a proving ground for rowing teams from a wide variety of different countries, providing a very exciting atmosphere for all. Glorious Goodwood.You’ll find this summer delight as relaxing as it is enjoyable. King Edward VII once called it “a garden party with racing tacked on”, and he was right. Formal attire was actually dumped by the King who preferred attending in something a little bit more comfortable and people still continue to do the same. Royal Ascot. Royal Ascot is a slightly more formal event and as you would imagine a bit of hangout for royalty. Again there is a great atmosphere here and lots of opportunities to try your hand a bit of betting if it takes your fancy. Like Goodwood it is a summer event so there is plenty of sun worshiping that goes on. Sometimes with horseracing events, everything seems a bit rushed but not here. There wont be any opportunity to be find yourself bored because although there are four days of the event, there is so much to see and do there.
